Luke 12:40

"You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect."

What is happening in our beautiful country, which very much felt free for so long, is heavy on my heart. It's been in my prayer life, in my conversations with both Christians and unbelievers. This scripture was daily scripture for those who have the Bible application on their phone yesterday. And it set many mixed of emotions of conviction, relief, reassurance, etc.

If you are somehow blind to what is happening in the United States, which frankly, I don't know how you can be - you should be fearful. The Israeli flag is now raised in Newark, NJ. Muslims have taken over Dearborn, MI. We have New York, where Mamdani has gone back and forth on his word multiple times to seemingly please the people and not truly care about what that city or what this country needs. Mamdani identifies as a Democratic Socialist. However, in my opinion, he could be the start of a path to complete Socialism as if we did not just see and celebrate alongside our Venezuelan brothers and sisters who were freed from that.

We have protests across the country continuously disrupting law enforcement in a violent manner. Especially in Minneapolis. Those in Minneapolis right now, today, are calling for civil war. If you somehow stand for these violent protests, but sit in a connection group or in a pew and call for everyone to, "love one another," hypocrisy. A veteran who fought in the Vietnam war who was spit on, people shaming him, and here he is witnessing people he fought for their freedom be completely disrespected. He was righteously angry. Are we not called to submit to authority? Is our nation not called to enforce laws? If someone in authority whether that be a parent, boss at work, police, federal agents told me to comply with something they're calling me to do regardless of how I feel about it; I would simply do so. We've all done things we don't want to do because we're tired, have a lot on our agenda, pile of things to write off before our day is done. But we do so because it is just and right.

Somehow Christians seem to have forgotten to turn the other cheek, forgotten to not do or say things out of emotion, forgotten to sit at a table of sinners, forgotten to be set apart as we're called to be. And if we continue to do so, our freedom to praise Jesus, love each other openly, worship, will be stripped away. I believe there will come a day where we will have to choose a side. It will be black and white. No middle area. Are you going to stand where Jesus is calling you to or will you go against it? Will you be ready for Jesus to come?

My brothers and sisters, Islam is not waiting for us to be weak, we already are and if we do not wake up, we will have a hard truth to face. We're not waiting around for a false religion to rise, it's already rising. It's already here.
